Hello lovelies ..
And here we are on nearing the end of June .. didn’t that go by quickly? This month marks the beginning of the ‘summer’ palette and as the days get warmer, the colors of this season get cooler. I have shared this seasonal mood board once again on instagram. You can see a noticeable shift from warm and welcoming to cool and calming. There is still an air of playfulness, as this month abuts spring. Here are january, february, march, april and may so you can see the progression.
Seasonal color psychology is the study of color and how it’s tones and traits are mirrored in nature and can be relatable to nearly every aspect of design .. design in nature, fashion, interiors, print, florals, art etc.
As before, I would like to add word qualities to the images that i feel are in keeping with this slight shift in temperature and reflect the nature of this month ..
delicate . graceful . painterly . romantic . soft . demure . innocent . dreamy . beautiful
Once again these are words that bridge the feeling between summer and spring.
